This half-day course provides an introduction of how ageing may affect adults on the autism spectrum. Examining theoretical knowledge on the ageing process, how this may differ for adults on the autism spectrum and a discussion of strategies for supporting older adults on the autism spectrum. This course has been developed based on the findings of The National Autistic Society's Autism in Maturity project.

This course is suitable for anyone working with older adults on the autism spectrum. Delegates attending this course are expected to have previous understanding and experience of autism.
