"I’m Lucy; my son Max has autism. Life’s difficult, especially for Max who struggles every day. I’ve used the NAS helpline and family seminars, they really helped with Max’s education and behaviour. TogetherGifts is a brilliant idea, simple to set up and a contribution of just £2 a month goes a long way if we join together. My family feel at a loss as how to help; something like this is easy for them to do."

"My name’s Chris, my son Max has autism. I joined TogetherGifts because the NAS have supported us so well during some of the darker days. Without the help, advice and support the NAS has given, we would have found it extremely difficult to manage. My contribution is not much, but goes towards something that offers a lot, not only for us but for many other families out there. We are all in it together."

"I’m Tim, Max’s uncle. My relationship with Max and his brother Leo is great – but it can be hard work. I like the idea of TogetherGifts because from small acorns great oaks do grow, so we should all plant a little acorn and grow a forest to do a lot more for people with autism! A small regular amount is easier for me, you don’t notice it going out and you then know you’re always doing something."

"Max attended school with my son. When my son was diagnosed with autism our world was turned upside down. Max's mum introduced me to the NAS. Life for a family with autism is difficult and draining; having help, support and guidance is so important. TogetherGifts is an amazing way to help, and although you’re giving a small amount, that money will help to improve life for people living with autism."

"I’m Heather, Max’s granny. Having a child with autism 24/7 is very difficult, and life’s not easy for Max’s brother either. We like TogetherGifts because people can give a little - £2 a month is the price of one cup of coffee, but if we all join together the NAS can plan ahead. We have benefited a lot from them and would like to spread the word."

"My wife and I are blessed with two lovely grandsons, Max has autism. When he was diagnosed the future looked bleak. I went to a day course run by the NAS with my daughter and it was a revelation – the staff were extremely helpful. TogetherGifts is about everyone coming together to help people with autism – we’re all in it together - so it’s nice to think you’re giving together as well."
